3-D Analysis
Sophisticated 3‑D analysis tools for a complex 3‑D world3‑D analysis provides us with a way to quanitfy motion in our 3‑D world. To start analyzing 3-D motion yourself, you only need 3 things:
- A set of control points, or points with known 3‑D coordinates,
- An image of the control points taken with your camera, and
- The 3‑D analysis tools inside ProAnalyst 2023.
Using an advanced camera calibration algorithm, ProAnalyst 2023 combines the 2‑D and 3‑D coordinates of the control points to construct a virtual 3‑D coordinate system that matches the real world.
Now, when you record motion with your calibrated camera, ProAnalyst 2023 will map that motion to this new virtual 3‑D space. More calibrated cameras recording the motion means more information obtained from the analysis.
